Light Out of Darkness

II Corinthians 4:6 - "For God, who said, 'Light shall shine out of darkness,' is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ."

It is an extraordinary thing when we gaze into the face of Jesus. It is remarkable, when we do so, how the darkness in our lives suddenly becomes light! It is as though God flips a switch when we come to Him in surrender and our souls are flooded with understanding. Though we grope in the darkness, we will not find true illumination until we submit to God. Remember, human knowledge is no substitute for God's wisdom.

Never underestimate God's ability to bring light to what seems like a hopelessly dark situation. Does the darkness seem impenetrable, beloved? Gaze upon Christ and God will call light out of your darkness.
